A Guide To Dining In Bloordale

One of the biggest elements most people take into account when they decide to move to a new neighbourhood is the variety and quality of restaurants. Bloordale has grown into a food destination with cafes, bars, and restaurants for all tastes – not only for residents in the community, but for Torontonians across the city.

When you move to Enigma on the Park, you’ll have some of the best food in Toronto in your backyard. Here’s a selection of eateries we love:

Brock Sandwich

Some say this spot serves the best sandwiches in the city – and we won’t argue. Almost too large to fit in your mouth, sure to drip all over you, these sandwich masterpieces are absolutely delicious. They even do vegan and gluten-free lunches.

The Grey Tiger

Speaking of vegan, this new bar and café specializes in that particular fare. Visit for pastries and tea during the day or beer, cocktails, and snacks at night. Definitely order the charcuterie board with nut cheese, mushroom pate, pickled veggies, and olives.

Burdock

The restaurant and microbrewery will easily become your neighbourhood go-to. Not only a place to grab a beer and food, the music hall has regularly scheduled shows with local musicians. Love the beer? Buy a few bottles to drink at home.

The Emerson

A family-friendly restaurant, The Emerson serves cozy dishes such as Curried Lamb Shank and Ricotta Gnocchi. And the vintage bicycles hanging on the walls will keep your kids’ attention occupied.
