Lampson Street

The development on Lampson Street started with the idea of creating a small community amongst the quickly growing township of Esquimalt, with an elegant design by iconic Merrick Architecture. On the existing property sits a boutique hotel, the English Inn, which will be renovated while respecting the character of the Inn. One of the primary objectives of the initial design was to preserve the existing mature trees on the property and respect the environment and surroundings. The property is planned to include 7 townhomes and a variety of condos from one bedroom units up to two level 3 bedroom units with large balconies. The charming character of the Inn will remain while increasing the number of rooms, adding a restaurant, a lounge, a small spa, and a gym.


Innovative designs of luxury suites will merge the traditional Victorian Architectural style of the early 1900’s with cutting edge design. The site layout was planned to ensure small building footprints with large units containing large windows to provide views upon the elegantly designed courtyards. The design of this community highlights the importance of preserving our natural ecosystem. Aragon hired a local arborist who helped preserve the existing trees as well as planting many new trees. Our highly-esteemed landscape architect has created elegant pathways throughout the property, with rain gardens, and local tree & plant species to give a secluded feel while being just blocks away from the shops along Esquimalt Road.

The design is intended to maintain an environmentally conscious design for the homes, taking advantage of geothermal heating, and high thermal values, building to some of the highest environmental standards in the country. Residents will have access to a secured underground parkade, as well as a gym in the central amenity room. Residents can stroll down the landscape pathways towards a gym, restaurant and spa just steps from their door.

The seven townhomes are three levels, with 3 bedrooms, they will have their own private access and garage.

While we have hidden the final designs of our unit layouts, they are sure to surprise and impress. The elegant suites will incorporate the high quality finishing’s for which Aragon is well known.
